Every month, thousands of people travel from Dhanbad to Delhi for a variety of purposes. Every community has members who visit Delhi. Along with doing their own job, they travel on pilgrimages and other trips with other members of the community. Group travellers must reserve seats on trains departing from Howrah and Sealdah for Delhi more than a month in advance.


There are less seats in the trains leaving from Dhanbad as well. There is no assurance that a pending ticket will be confirmed. The date of travel frequently needs to be altered in this circumstance. People are compelled to delay their travel since there are very few seats available in the Tatkal quota and tickets are not confirmed even in the emergency quota.


Additionally, social workers stated that a direct railway to Delhi must exist.


From Dhanbad, people from all social groups migrate to Delhi. Most establishments do not have confirmed tickets on hand when they are needed. There should be a railway running from Dhanbad to Delhi.
