Mahendra Singh Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings to the IPL 2023 championship. This is his final season in the league. Dhoni struggled with a knee issue the entire season. After leading the squad to victory, he underwent knee surgery. There have been rumours that Dhoni's final IPL will be this one since the start of last season. But he always said he wouldn't retire now when he talked about doing so. Recently, the CSK CEO made a significant statement regarding Dhoni's IPL future.


In Delhi. Mahendra Singh Dhoni led the Chennai Super Kings to their fifth IPL championship. Along with Mumbai Indians, Chennai is now one of two teams that have won the championship five times. However, despite having a knee injury, Dhoni participated in IPL 2023. After leading his side to victory, Dhoni needed knee surgery right away. He underwent surgery, and is now healing. The CEO of Chennai Super Kings, Kashi Vishwanathan, has made a significant announcement regarding Dhoni playing in the 2024 IPL.


Kashi Vishwanathan, the CEO of CSK, recently met Dhoni in Mumbai following surgery and provided a health report. Dhoni won't play again until February and will take three weeks off before beginning his recuperation.


Dhoni is aware of his obligations: Chennai Super Kings CEO Kashi Vishwanathan stated, "Dhoni realises very well what he has to do afterwards. He will go directly to N.K. if he needs to make any decisions about leaving the IPL. I'll see Srinivasan and chat to him. His relationship with Chennai Super Kings began in 2008 and will last.


Dhoni had been experiencing knee pain since the first game, according to Vishwanathan. But he didn't bring it up until the very end. He never broached the subject of his knee. But everyone was aware of Dhoni's predicament. He could not move quickly. He had said that now that I had won the final, I would have knee surgery. He then travelled to Mumbai, where he is currently recuperating. They may not be totally fit for three months. He may then be spotted practising on Dhoni Ground after that.
