 Meet Abhishek Kumar, a Patna student who received a job offer from Amazon with a salary package of INR 1.8 crore


The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna's Abhishek Kumar, a final-year computing student, received a record-breaking employment offer from Amazon with a salary of INR 1.8 crore annually. After clearing an Amazon-conducted coding test in December 2021, Kumar had to pass three rounds of international interviews before being offered the highly sought-after job at Amazon.


Usually, hard work is rewarded. Abhishek Kumar, whose acceptance of a job at Amazon will change his life, is a prime example of this. At the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Patna, Abhishek, a final-year computer engineering student, won the highest annual salary ever awarded by the institution: Rs. 1.8 crore.


Native to Jhajha, Abhishek Kumar majored in computer science. Amazon informed Abhishek Kumar that he had been selected on April 21, 2022. He attempted the coding test on December 13, 2021. On April 13, 2022, he had three stages of one-hour interviews. Abhishek reportedly spoke with experts from Germany and Ireland, and his blockchain concept won them over.


Aditi Tiwari from NIT Patna obtained the greatest salary deal from Facebook before Abhishek Kumar, totaling Rs. 1.6 crore. Aditi Tiwari, it an undergraduate electronics and communications engineering (ECE) student, was chosen to work at Facebook as a front-end programmer. While her father works for Tata Steel, Aditi Tiwari's mother works as a teacher in a public school. Sampreeti Yadav, a resident of Patna and a student at the NIT, had received a parcel from Google for Rs. 1.11 crore before Aditi Tiwari.



An earlier deal worth Rs. 1.2 crore was obtained by IIIT-Lucknow student Abhijeet Dwivedi from Amazon. The Prayagraj native is employed by Amazon in the Irish city of Dublin as a software development engineer.
