RBI Policy February 2023 Update: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das will announce the Monetary Policy Statement on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 10:00 AM and is expected to marginally increase the repo rate. In its December monetary policy review, the central bank had increased the key benchmark interest rate by 35 basis points (bps). Since May last year, the Reserve Bank has increased the short-term lending rate by 225 basis points to control inflation.
