The Prime Minister also told teachers to be the medium of big change. He said, “The massive investment in the infrastructure sector in Uttarakhand is not only increasing connectivity to remote villages, but also creating new employment and self-employment opportunities for the youth near their homes, so that the youth of the state return to their villages."

The Prime Minister stressed on breaking the old saying that the water and youth of the mountains are of no use to the mountains. Highlighting new opportunities for employment and self-employment being created in the hilly areas, he said, “It is the constant effort of the Central Government that the youth of Uttarakhand return to their villages.”
