Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal said in a tweet post on Thursday that a captain and an entrepreneur have a lot in common as both have a strong team that works together to fulfill their dreams.

The billionaire also shared how he built his 'dream team' that helped Vedanta get listed on the London Stock Exchange. He has penned a long note on his team members who helped Vedanta grow.

“While watching Chakde India with the family the other day, I realized how much a captain and an entrepreneur have in common. They both have a strong team working together to make their dreams come true," Agarwal wrote on Twitter.

He also added, "Entrepreneurs need to find each member's strengths to build a winning team, just like they did in the film. And that's how I created my dream team that helped Vedanta get listed on the London Stock Exchange." I helped."

According to the Vedanta chairman, a good team needs players with diverse expertise who can help in the overall game plan. Agarwal followed the same drill when it came time to take Vedanta to the next level.

“So when it was time to take Vedanta to the next level, we included these talented people as part of our Board of Directors; Brian Gilbertson, he helped us enlist Vedanta, Michael Faul, ex-chairman KPGM, my go-to man for numbers; the late Sir David Gore-Booth, our policy expert; Cynthia Carroll, Corporate Governance expert and many more…,” he further tweeted.

“You made the dreams of a young Bihari boy come true. I will be forever grateful..," said the industrialist.
