An encounter broke out between security forces and around two terrorists in Sidhra area of Jammu on Wednesday morning, according to Jammu and Kashmir Police officials, quoting news agency ANI.

J&K Police said, "Encounter underway in Sidhra area of Jammu, firing underway, two terrorists likely to be at the spot."
He said the encounter started around 7.30 am and additional forces have been sent to the area to neutralize the terrorists.
Officials were quoted as saying by PTI that the terrorists were intercepted near Tawi bridge when they were on their way to Kashmir in a truck.
Confirming the incident, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh said that two to three terrorists are believed to be trapped.
