Google launches free VPN service for its Pixel 7 series: All the details

 



• According to a recent report by 9to5Google, VPN services have started rolling out for Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro users.

Earlier this year, Google launched its Pixel and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones at the 'Made by Google' event. Apart from the flagship smartphones and Pixel Watch, the company also announced free VPN services for its handsets through the Google One app.

According to a recent report by 9to5Google, VPN services have been started rolling out for Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro users. Google has a support page on its website that mentions countries where VPN services will soon be available:

According to Google, if users are using Google One which is activated in their handset, it will still work when the user travels to other countries. These VPN services can also be used by Google One subscribers with Pixel 7 users with 2TB of Google One storage.

Specifically, the Google One app opens on the Pixel 7 with "Your Pixel, VPN by Google One".

Here's How to Manage VPN in Google One App

step 1. Open the Google One app .

step 2. Now tap on View Details.

step 3. Also, turn on the Use VPN toggle button.

Users can also manage the VPN on their Pixel phone using this second method:

step 1. Launch the Google One app.

step 2. Tap on Benefits.

step 3. Go to VPN.

step 4. Now, tap on View Details.

Step 5. Finally, turn on the Enable VPN toggle.
