Car prices hike: Maruti, Tata, Honda and other vehicles will be costlier in January

 


• By 2023, vehicles will become expensive in India. Leading auto manufacturers in India have announced a price hike across models starting January 2023. The decision is aimed at compensating for the rising cost and also to comply with the stricter emission norms that will come into effect from April 2023. As per the new norms, onboard self-diagnostic equipment is required to monitor vehicle real-time driving emission levels. Here's a list of companies that have announced price hikes



1/9Honda | Japanese carmaker may increase prices of its vehicles by up to ₹30,000



2/9Hyundai India | The price hike will vary across models and will be applicable from January 2023



3/9Jeep India | Jeep SUV prices to increase by 2-4% across all models



4/9Maruti Suzuki | The company says that the decision was taken due to continued cost pressure and recent regulatory requirements



5/9Tata Motors | The price hike will be for both ICE and EVs models offered by the company



6/9Kia India | Kia vehicles to become costlier by up to ₹50,000 from January 2023



7/9Mercedes-Benz | Luxury car company will increase prices by 5 percent
