A restaurant in Andhra Pradesh has reportedly offered an amazing meal by serving unlimited thalis for only 5 paise. According to a news report by ANI news agency, Rajbhog restaurant located in Vijayawada is offering unlimited thali to its customers, which includes 35 different dishes.

Restaurant owner Mohit told the agency that it was a marketing strategy. The restaurant served the first 50 thalis for free. And around 1,000 customers paid 5 paise for a thali. The owner said that a thali includes a range of dishes from different Indian states.

"Yesterday was a very successful event, we didn't expect this much crowd. We were expecting only 300-400 subscribers but our post went viral and became famous within three days. It was a great way of promotion. Unique way. So we promoted with 5 paise offer. We served first 50 thalis free of cost to those who bought 5 paise coins and to more than 1,000 customers we served thalis at 50% discount. It was a huge success. It There is an unlimited thali with 35 different dishes, which blends Gujarati, Rajasthani and North Indian cuisines."

The restaurant offer was valid for one day only.

Deepti, co-owner of Rajbhog restaurant, served some food at 50% discount. He said they kept the cost per plate at ₹420, but on the day of the offer, they served food for ₹210 to some customers.

"The main reason for the proposal was that we serve Rajasthani, Gujarati and North Indian Thalis here, but here in Vijayawada, we have a lot of South Indian crowd, so our idea is to reach out to the South Indian crowd as well. So we launched 5 paise yesterday 1000. We served the first fifty customers for free and after that we served them at 50% off. So the cost of our thali is ₹420, but yesterday we had more than 1,000 customers and we served the thali at ₹420. 210 per thali. The main concept of this proposal was that yesterday, we had a convention hall named 'Mandap' which is on the first floor. So we wanted to keep these food items in the mandap and show people that our The restaurant serves this type of food."
