Watch: BJP MP Janardan Mishra's bizarre remark on water conservation

 



• A workshop on water conservation was organized on 6th November at Rewa Krishnaraj Kapoor Auditorium in the district.


Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Rewa Janardan Mishra has made strange remarks regarding water conservation.


During the water conservation workshop, Janardan Mishra was quoted by news agency ANI as saying, "The land is drying up, it should be saved... drink alcohol, chew tobacco, smoke weed or dilute and smell the solution but understand its importance Water."


A workshop on water conservation was organized on November 6 at Rewa Krishnaraj Kapoor Auditorium in the district.


A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

According to the viral video, he further said, 'If any government announces to waive water tax, then tell them that we will give water tax and you can waive the rest of the tax including electricity bill.


This is not the first time that Mishra has come into the limelight. Earlier in September, he remained in the limelight through his unexpected strange statements and activities. In a video that has gone viral on social media, Mishra can be seen cleaning the toilet of a girls' school in his constituency with his bare hands.


The video was shot during the MP's visit to Khatkhari's school on 22 September to participate in a tree plantation program as the chief guest.

After seeing a dirty toilet in the school, Mishra decided to clean it himself with his bare hands using only water and without waiting for any tools including gloves and brushes, sources had told news agency PTI.


When asked about this, Mishra said, "Everyone should maintain cleanliness. From Mahatma Gandhi to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he has given the message of cleanliness.


He said that he cleaned toilets to motivate people towards cleanliness. In 2018 too, Mishra had cleaned a school toilet and a video of that act went viral. He also used to drive a garbage collection vehicle.
