Prime Minister Narendra Modi held his first informal conversation with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on the sidelines of the G20 summit here on Tuesday and exchanged views on a range of issues. PM Modi met UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, his first face-to-face interaction since assuming power last month.

India will assume the presidency of the G20 for one year starting from December 1, 2022. The G20 comprises 19 countries: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the UK, the USA and the European Union. (EU).
