CAT 2022 Exam: MBA Entrance Exam Today; Know Timings, Dress Code, Other Details

 


• CAT Exam 2022: Candidates need to carry their admit card and photo identity proof to the exam center

The Common Admission Test (CAT) exam or MBA exam is scheduled to be held today, November 27 (Sunday). CAT 2022 exam will be held in three shifts today. The exam will start at 8:30 am and will go on till 10:30 am. The second slot will start at 12:30 PM and go on till 2:30 PM, while the third slot will start at 4:30 PM and end at 6:30 PM.

The CAT exam is conducted for admission to postgraduate management programs at the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and participating non-IIMs.

The question paper for CAT exam consists of three sections - Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning.

Candidates need to carry their admit card and photo identity proof to the exam centre. Admit cards can be downloaded from the official website of IIM, iimcat.ac.in.

Along with the admit card, a detailed list of instructions for the candidates has also been issued.

Here are the do's and don'ts and dress code for CAT 2022 exam:

1. The Admit Card will be considered valid only if the image of the candidate's photograph and signature are clearly printed

2. IIMs have introduced a Google Map link to the test center in the electric version of the admit card.

3. Candidates have to take printout on A-4 size paper.

4. The timings for entry into the examination center are 8:15 AM, 12:15 PM and 4:15 PM for the evening session.

5. Candidates will be provided with a pen and a scribble pad. Drop your admit card, pen and scribble pad (with all pages) in the box after the exam is over.

6. Candidates should avoid carrying electronic gadgets like phone, calculator, camera etc. at the time of examination to the examination centres.

7. Candidates should not wear jewelery or any other metal article at the venue. In addition, shoes/boots with thick soles and apparel with large buttons are also prohibited.

8. No page from the scribble pad should be taken by the candidates outside the test laboratory after the test is over.
