Mahindra also mentioned that the prospects are stacked badly against Rishi, however, the lack of "raw materials" will not be the reason for their success or failure.

Rishi Sunak replaced Liz Truss as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Following his meeting with King Charles III at Buckingham Palace, the 42-year-old Richmond (York) MP became the youngest British prime minister in nearly 210 years.
Sunak said in a note, "The challenges we face right now are even greater. But the opportunities—if we make the right choices—are phenomenal. I have a track record of delivery, the biggest problems we face are There is a clear plan to fix the issue and I will fulfill the promise of the 2019 manifesto."
Sunak's personal life
Rishi Sunak was born in an Indian family in the Southampton region of Britain. His mother was a pharmacist, and his father was a general practitioner for the National Health Service (NHS). Rishi Sunak's grandparents are residents of Punjab.
Sunak's family moved to East Africa in search of a better life. However, due to strong anti-India sentiments in the region, unrest broke out there, and his grandfather shifted his base to Britain.
Sunak has degrees from Stanford and Oxford. Akshata Murthy, daughter of Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy, is his wife. The couple has two daughters, Anushka and Krishna.
Political career of Rishi Sunki
Sunak became a Member of Parliament (MP) for the first time in 2015 in Richmond, Yorkshire. He supported the "Brexit" call and rose rapidly through the Conservative Party ranks. Sunak was one of the supporters of Johnson's "Leave the EU" campaign. He made history in February 2020 when he was made Chancellor of the Exchequer, the most important post in the UK cabinet.
Sunak became famous for his economic support of workers and businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic, including a job retention programme, which is said to have prevented widespread unemployment in the UK.
The "Partygate" scandal, in which Sunak broke Covid norms by organizing lockdown parties in government offices, hurt his reputation. This ultimately resulted in Johnson's administration facing a crisis.
The non-domicant tax status of his wealthy wife was also criticized. A person who was born in another country or whose parents were born in another country is only able to pay tax on income earned in the country because of the tax situation in the UK.
