Ravana's effigy fell on the ground due to strong winds in Patna ahead of Dussehra festival. On Wednesday, a crowd waiting for the burning of the effigy at Gandhi Maidan saw it fall to the ground.

However, no casualties have been reported during the incident.

Soon, the organizers reached the spot and used a JCB bulldozer to capture the effigy of Ravana, so that it could be burnt.

The crowd can be heard chanting Jai Shri Ram while the bulldozers were trying to pull the effigy.

On Wednesday, effigies of demon king Ravana, his brother Kumbhakarna and his son Meghnad were engulfed in flames in various grounds across the country.

Dussehra was celebrated with pomp and show, marking the end of the nine-day long festival of Navratri.

However, in many places in Bhopal, the effigies got wet due to intermittent rain. Meanwhile, people narrowly escaped during an incident in Haryana's Yamunanagar, when a burning effigy of Ravana fell on the ground.
