A surgeon in Bengaluru ran through business to reach his clinic on time to perform a listed surgery last month. On the morning of August 30,Dr. Govind Nandakumar, a gastrointestinal surgeon, was on his way to Manipal Hospital on Sarjapur Road when he got stuck in business on the Sarjapur- Marathalli section.
Govind, who was late for the booked gallbladder medical procedure, escaped his vehicle and ran the leftover three kilometers. The specialist, who has now posted a short video of the race on his Instagram page, said it was simple for him as he practiced consistently.
Sharing his experience, Govind said, "In the middle of the traffic, Google Maps showed that it would take 45 minutes to reach the hospital. Ordinarily, it requires five to 10 minutes to arrive at the medical clinic by that course.
