Hyderabad Police detain the brother of Rakul Preet Singh in relation to a narcotics case


Amanpreet Singh, the brother of actress Rakul Preet Singh, was taken into custody by Hyderabad Police in relation to a narcotics case. He and four other people were apprehended as a result of a coordinated operation with the Narcotics Bureau. Aman was one of the 13 people who tested positive for drug use.


Following a combined operation by police and the Narcotics Bureau, actor Rakul Preet Singh's brother Amanpreet Singh was taken into custody by Hyderabad Police in relation to a narcotics case, according to the Hindustan Times. Actor Amanpreet Singh was one of five people detained in relation to the narcotics case.


The arrests were made during a combined operation by the Narcotics Bureau and Rajendra Nagar SOT Police, which is under the purview of Cyberabad Police.


On Monday, Hyderabad police addressed a recent narcotics bust case during a news conference. They said that Aman and four other people suspected of narcotics trafficking had been arrested in relation to the event. Thirteen people tested positive for drug use, including Aman. He will be appearing in court soon, the police said.


The Enforcement Directorate had already called Rakul to discuss an alleged drug-related money laundering case. When asked, the Cynberabad police confirmed, according to a Hindustan Times story, "She is not under investigation in this matter. We won't remark more since we don't want to bring her name into needless rumors."


Rakul Preet Singh was recently sighted in Mumbai with her husband Jacky Bhagnani, attending the wedding of Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant.


Hyderabad bust for drugs

In connection with the case, authorities reportedly found 199 grams of cocaine in addition to two passports, two motorcycles, and ten mobile phones. This information was reported by Hindustan Times.


Onuoha Blessing, Mohd Mahaboob Shareef, Azeez Nohaam Adeshola, Alla Satya Venkata Gowtham, and Sanaboina Varun Kumar have all been arrested as alleged peddlers. Ezeonyili Franklin Uchenna and Divine Ebuka Suzee are presently avoiding capture.


In a news release, the Cyberabad police said that they had located 13 Hyderabad-based customers who are reportedly well-off and actively supporting the narcotics trade in Telangana.


According to the police, these people are allegedly engaged in setting up a narcotics supply and demand network in Hyderabad. The press release went on to say that six of these customers have been taken into custody and that they have all tested positive for cocaine in their urine tests.
