Government will host 'Global IndiaAI Summit' on July 3–4 to talk about important AI problems and challenges


India aims to become a worldwide leader in AI innovation via the 'worldwide IndiaAI Summit 2024', guaranteeing that the advantages of AI are available to everyone and advancing the socioeconomic advancement of the country.


On July 3–4, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology will host a worldwide AI conference to address challenges surrounding artificial intelligence. India is adamant about the ethical and inclusive development of this cutting-edge technology.

"Unwavering commitment to the responsible development, deployment, and adoption of artificial intelligence" is highlighted by the government, according to a statement, at this two-day event being organized by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity) in the nation's capital.


Industry executives will be among the key speakers at the event, which will also feature Minister of State for Electronics and IT Jitin Prasada and Minister of Electronics and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw.


Leading worldwide AI professionals from academia, government, business, civil society, and science will be able to exchange ideas and perspectives on important AI problems and challenges during the summit.


"The event emphasizes the Government of India's dedication to the responsibly advancement of AI, fostering partnerships and information exchange among global AI stakeholders," stated the statement.


According to the announcement, India will host experts and member nations as the main chair of the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) in order to further GPAI's mission to develop reliable, safe, and secure AI.
