Palestinians injured by Israel army loaded into jeep



According to the Israeli military, during a raid in the West Bank city of Jenin, their soldiers broke procedure by tying an injured Palestinian guy to the front of their car.

Following the incident's social media dissemination and video capture, the Israel Defense Forces verified it. The individual was wounded in a gunfight that broke out during the operation, according to an IDF statement, and he was a suspect.


According to the wounded man's relatives, the army seized him, tied him to the jeep's bonnet, and drove off when they requested an ambulance.


After a while, the patient was sent to the Red Crescent for care. The event will be looked upon, according to the IDF.


Witnesses who spoke with the Reuters news agency described him as Mujahed Azmi, a local guy.


"This morning [Saturday], during counter-terrorism actions to apprehend wanted suspects in the immediate vicinity of Wadi Burqin, terrorists opened fire at IDF troops, whom responded with fire," according to an IDF statement.


"During the exchange of fire, one of the suspects was injured and apprehended."The suspect was seized by the troops with his hands tied on top of a car, defying directives and usual operational protocols.


"The actions of the military in the event seen on camera do not align with the IDF's core beliefs. The issue will be looked upon, and appropriate action taken."


Since the commencement of the Gaza Strip conflict, which was brought on by Hamas's fatal assault on southern Israel on October 7, there has been a sharp increase in violence in the West Bank.

According to the UN, there have been at least 480 Palestinian deaths in West Bank and East Jerusalem conflict-related events. These deaths include assailants, members of armed organizations, and civilians.


Israel is charged with war crimes in connection with the death of a West Bank kid.

Ten Israelis have also died in the West Bank, six of them security force members.
