Funding of Rs 1,373 crore has been secured by Sterlite Power for the Neemrana II Kotputli transmission project
In November 2023, Sterlite Power purchased the Neemrana II Kotputli Transmission Limited SPV in order to carry out the green energy corridor on a 35-year Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer (BOOT) basis.
On Thursday, Sterlite Power said that the state-owned Power Finance Corporation has provided Rs 1,373 crore in finance for its Neemrana II Kotputli Transmission Limited (NKTL) project.
In November 2023, Sterlite Power purchased the Neemrana II Kotputli Transmission Limited SPV in order to carry out the green energy corridor on a 35-year Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer (BOOT) basis.
The business announced in a statement that it "had closed the project's financials for Neemrana II Kotputli Transmission Limited (NKTL). Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has provided money totaling Rs 1,373 crore for the project."
In addition to providing a LILO (Line-In Line-Out) that will integrate the Neemrana II substation with the Gurugram and Sohna substations via the current Gurugram-Sohna line, this network will provide crucial linkages, connecting the Neemrana substation to the current Kotputli substation.
