Samsung Electronics debuts Samsung Innovation Campus's second season
Samsung and the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) inked a deal earlier this week to teach 3,500 students nationwide.
The training program's national winners will get Rs 1 lakh, as well as goods like Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Smartwatches and the chance to visit Samsung's facilities in Delhi for mentorship opportunities with the company's leadership.
The India division of Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. has begun the second season of its nationwide skill-building initiative, Samsung Innovation Campus, which teaches young people between the ages of 18 and 25 programming, big data, artificial intelligence, and the internet of things.
The company's effort, which aims to increase young Indians' employability, demonstrates its dedication to fostering India's progress. In order to provide young people possibilities, the program also supports government programs like Skill India and Digital India.

JB Park, President and CEO of Samsung Southwest Asia, said, "We are creating a platform of skill-based learning through Samsung Innovation Campus that's going to upskill the youth, create employment opportunities in future -tech domains, as well as effect meaningful change."
Eight educational institutions in four states will provide the training. There will be two training centers in Delhi NCR and one each in Lucknow and Gorakhpur in the northern area. There will be two training centers in Bengaluru and two in Chennai and Sriperumbudur in the southern area. The course will continue for six months, from April to October. The winners will be revealed the following month.
"We have high hopes that the program will provide students with technical skills and prepare them for the workforce," said Abhilasha Gaur, ESSCI's chief operating officer and acting CEO.
The Samsung Innovation Campus taught three thousand students in these kinds of emerging technologies in 2023. These programs are a component of Samsung's strategy to enable upcoming leaders by giving them the knowledge and abilities necessary to effect real change.
