Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh receives FSIB's recommendation to become SBI's managing director
On April 23 and 24, FSIB conducted interviews with sixteen applicants for the MD job at SBI.
On April 24, the Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) announced that it has suggested Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh for the position of managing director at State Bank of India (SBI).
After speaking with a total of sixteen applicants over the course of April 23 and 24, the FSIB announced that it has completed its assessments for the post of Managing Director at the State Bank of India (SBI).
"Keeping in view their performance in the interface, overall experience as well as the extant parameters, the Bureau strongly recommends Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh for the position of MD in SBI," said the FSIB in a statement.
For the role of MD & CEO of Indian Bank, the Bureau has also nominated Asheesh Pandey.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Appointments Committee of the Cabinet will make the ultimate decision about the FSIB's recommendation.
