Nestle India and Dr. Reddy's are partnering to create a nutraceutical brand in India and other agreed-upon regions


According to a joint press release from the two companies, the partnership will combine Dr. Reddy's well-established commercial strengths in India with Nestle Health Science's (NHSc) well-known global range of nutritional health solutions, vitamins, minerals, herbals, and supplements.


On Thursday, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd. and Nestle India said that they had finalized their agreement to establish a joint venture with the aim of introducing cutting-edge nutraceutical products to customers in India and other designated regions.


According to a joint press release from the two companies, the partnership will combine Dr. Reddy's well-established commercial strengths in India with Nestle Health Science's (NHSc) well-known global range of nutritional health solutions, vitamins, minerals, herbals, and supplements.


According to the statement, the action will assist JV partners in combining their skills and expanding their complementary nutraceuticals portfolios for customers across India in areas including metabolic, hospital nutrition, general wellness, women's health, and child nutrition.


The partnering corporations will provide licenses to the joint venture entity for certain brands. Brands like Nature's Bounty, Osteo Bi-Flex, Ester-C, Resource High Protein, Optifast, Resource Diabetic, Peptamen, Resource Renal, and Resource Dialysis are among the ones that the Nestlé Group will license.


Dr. Reddy's will provide licenses for nutrition and over-the-counter (OTC) products such Becozinc, Kidrich-D3, Celevida, Rebalanz, and Antoxid.


By Q2 of FY25, the joint venture firm should be up and running.
