Knife assault on a boat in Brooklyn's East River, New York City, leaves three people hospitalized


Around five o'clock in the evening, a 911 call was made reporting the attack between 58th Street and the Brooklyn Army Terminal warehouse along the East River, according to Detective Sophia Mason.


According to authorities, three persons were hospitalized on Saturday as a consequence of a knife assault on a boat at a dock in New York City.


According to Detective Sophia Mason, a 911 call about the attack between 58th Street and the Brooklyn Army Terminal warehouse along the East River was received at around five o'clock in the evening.


The victims were reported to include a guy, age 32, who had been stabbed in the torso; a man, age 40, who had been stabbed in the chest and abdomen; and a man, age 28, who had been struck in the head with a bottle.


Mason said that upon their arrival at the NYU Langone Hospital, their status remained stable. As of Saturday night, the investigation was still underway, with no arrests made.


Police refrained from revealing the kind of boat involved in the incident right away.
