Cosmetics company Starstruck, owned by Sunny Leone, has exceeded a revenue of Rs 10 crore


With many ups and downs and a multitude of learning experiences, 42-year-old Leone describes her path as gradual and steady. She emphasizes that running her own business is very difficult and that there are no quick cuts.


According to the model and starlet Sunny Leone, Starstruck, her line of cosmetics, brings in more than Rs 10 crore a year.


Canadian-born Karenjit Kaur Vohra, better known by her stage as Sunny Leone, established her cosmetics company Starstruck in 2018 with a Rs. 10 lakh down payment. Under the "Infamous by Starstruck" brand, she and her husband, Daniel Webber, extended their company into the innerwear market in 2019.


I wanted to work as a brand face for a firm, but even though I had a bigger following, reach, and brand analytics than others, many saw me as too much of a risk. I thus initiated it myself! DONE!" Leone said in a CNBC-TV18 email interview.


As of right now, Starstruck promises to be 'cruelty-free' for all of its more than 260 unique stock keeping units (SKUs) in the retail sector.

She has spread her money throughout a number of profitable endeavors over the years. According to Leone, she is worth more than Rs 100 crore now.


More than 500 stores throughout India carry her perfume brand, Affetto Fragrances. "Simple, I love colour cosmetics, and the category is huge," she said.


Investing in the athleisure business I Am Animal in 2021, Leone received approval from PETA. She also invested in the health company Rize Bars, and in February of this year, she opened the Chica Loca restaurant in Noida.


The model created history in January 2024 when she debuted her artificial intelligence (AI) avatar, making her the first Indian actress to do so.
