Delhi will host the opening of the first NESPRESSO boutique, and there are immediate plans to expand to other major cities.

Nestle India said on April 25 that it would soon introduce its well-known and expensive coffee brand Nespresso to the country in order to meet the increasing demand. Customers will be able to purchase Nespresso coffee makers and coffees online, and a boutique will open in Delhi initially with plans to extend to other major cities.

In recent years, there has been an increasing trend toward coffee drinking at home, according to Nestle, which also noted that one of its fastest-growing coffee markets globally is India.

India has seen a tremendous increase in coffee consumption in recent years, with a clear tendency toward at-home use. According to a news release from Nestle India's Chairman and Managing Director, Suresh Narayanan, "India has emerged as one of the fastest-growing coffee markets for the company due to a growing young population, exposure to global trends, and new experiences."

According to the firm, Nespresso pledges to provide Indian customers, coffee lovers, and connoisseurs with a wide variety of high-quality coffees and an amazing coffee experience.

The business said in an exchange filing that other Nescafe brands, including as Classic, Sunrise, and Gold, had double-digit growth, which contributed to the greatest-ever year gain in household adoption and market share in 2023.

"Nespresso has dedicated itself for nearly 40 years to improving the coffee experience with our distinctive flavor and our shared conviction that coffee can be a positive influence on the world." remarked Nestle Nespresso S.A. CEO Guillaume Le Cunff.

For both personal and commercial usage, Nespresso machines employ pre-measured, single-use and reusable capsules of ground coffee beans to make coffee.

Additionally, the firm states that over 93% of the coffee used in Nespresso is obtained responsibly. For premium green coffee, Nespresso has been directly collaborating with 2,000 Indian coffee growers since 2011.

In the March quarter, Nestle India posted a standalone net profit of Rs 934 crore, up 27% from Rs 737 crore in the same period last year. The FMCG giant reported a 9% increase in revenue to Rs 5,268 crore in a regulatory filing on April 25.
