On the roads that link Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad across the borders of Ghazipur and Chilla, there were significant traffic jams. Authorities have prohibited the entrance of cars transporting goods into Delhi via the Greater Noida Expressway in an effort to further reduce traffic congestion.

At the boundaries of Ghaziabad, Kaushambi, and Anand Vihar, there was also a traffic bottleneck.

Alternative routes advised by Noida Police: vehicles traveling from Chilla Border to Delhi may use the 14A flyover to Golchakkar Chowk, Sector 15, then continue on to Sandeep Paper Mill Chowk and Jhundpura Chowk before continuing on to their final destination.


-Cars traveling from the DND border to Delhi are recommended to use the Filmcity flyover to get to Sector 18 before continuing on to their final destination.


-Cars traveling to Delhi via the Kalindi Border are recommended to arrive at Sector 37 and then continue on the Mahamaya Flyover.


It is recommended that vehicles traveling to Delhi via the Yamuna Expressway utilize the Jewar Toll towards Khurja and then continue via Jahangirpur.


-Cars using the Peripheral Expressway to go from Sirsa, Parichowk to Delhi may travel via Dadri, Dasna.


-While traffic is being diverted, emergency vehicles will be permitted to get to a safe location.
