Prakash Ambedkar, the head of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA), spoke on seat sharing for this summer's national elections on Friday.took part in the opposition alliance conference. Regarding the admission of VBA in the group, the alliance wrote Ambedkar on January 30.

It seems that the NCP and Shiv Sena parted, forcing a change of heart.


In the 2019 national elections, the Congress-NCP alliance's chances of winning at least six seats—including those of former chief ministers Sushil Kumar Shinde and Ashok Chavan—were negatively impacted by the VBA's vote share.


In the most recent election, the VBA competed with the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, headed by Asaduddin Owaisi, whose Imtiaz Jaleel had beaten Chandrakant Khaire, a four-time Shiv Sena MLA, in Aurangabad.


The Republican Party of India (A) of Ramdas Athawale is allied with the Bharatiya Janata Party in Maharashtra. It is anticipated that Ambedkar's participation into the opposition coalition would aid in consolidating Dalit support in his favor.


After Uttar Pradesh (80), Maharashtra sends the second-highest number of MLAs (48) to the 543-member Lok Sabha.
