Investors give $25 million to startup Captain Fresh
With products imported from over a dozen countries, the firm offers more than 100 types of fish and seafood to clients in over 30 nations.

In order to grow its company, the fish and seafood technology firm Captain Fresh has secured US$25 million (about Rs 208 crore) from investors. The business said in a statement that as part of its continuous major investment round, it has received USD 25 million. The company's Series C financing reached US$45 million after it secured US$20 million in September of last year.
In the expanded round, Nekanti Seafoods Group and British International Investment (BII), a UK development finance firm, took part. "The proceeds generated this fund raise are intended to strengthen its distribution presence in the US and Europe," it said.
