Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has announced appointed Shiv Krishnamurthy would take the helm of the company's Foods & Refreshments business as Executive Director, marking a major shift in the company's management committee appointments.


Deepak Subramaniam will step down as executive director of Homecare to be replaced by Srinandan Sundaram. The executive director of homecare at HUL will be taking on a new position overseas. The aforementioned modifications will take effect on April 1, 2024.


Having joined HUL in 2000, Krishnamurthy holds the position of Vice President, Food & Beverages, South Asia. He has overseen various successful skin cleaning initiatives in India, such as Lifebuoy and Lux, Radiant (RIN) Innovation for Homecare in Southeast Asia, and the South Asian tea industry since 2015, according to the corporate statement. He also has significant marketing knowledge.


Subramaniam oversaw HUL's homecare division as executive director. Under his leadership, the company had impressive achievements in the home and hygiene and fabric care sectors, with significant volume growth and premiumization that contributed to both top and bottom line performance.


Sundaram has served as HUL's executive director of the food and beverage division. Throughout his tenure, he has effectively guided the company, maintaining its leadership in the tea segment and attaining competitive expansion with the complete integration of the health food beverages division into HUL. Additionally, Sundaram has set the stage for the food industry to flourish rapidly in both new and established sectors. The proprietor of Horlicks has also said that he has led HUL's focus on regenerative agriculture and nutritional content in goods.


It was already stated that Karthik Chandrashekhar would become an Executive Director of Personal Care for the HUL management committee starting on April 1. He has, nonetheless, made the decision to depart Unilever, and HUL will name a replacement for him when the time is right.

Java hopes that all of his future endeavors turn out well.
