four lightning strikes close to Australia's Sydney Opera House
In the Botanical Garden, all four of them perished under a tree.
A strong lightning storm on Monday killed four individuals who were sheltering behind a tree close to the Sydney Opera House, according to rescue authorities.
All four of them, according to ambulance staff, died behind trees in the Botanic Garden, a short distance from the port's magnificent architectural structure.
"For a brief while, they all lost consciousness," according to Dominic Wong of the New South Wales Ambulance Service.
He disclosed to reporters that he had heart issues in addition to burns.
According to him, paramedics treated the victims—two men and two women, ages between their teens and 30s—at the site before transporting them to hospitals in Sydney in a "critical and stable" state.
