Who is eligible for CGHS benefits?

Cardholders of CGHS are eligible for free care at any AIIMS.


1) With a valid CGHS card, cashless treatment is available to CGHS pensioners and other recipients who qualify, such as former governors, MPs, judges of the Supreme Court of India, judges of High Courts, freedom fighters, etc. Are. AIIMS. are in the running.


2) The CGHS Card specifies the ward's eligibility and validity.


3) AIIMS will set up a dedicated desk for CGHS recipients. At the CGHS counter, the qualified CGHS recipient may show his or her CGHS card for validation.


4) Beneficiaries of the CGHS who qualify may validate their card on their own. A copy of the patient's and the family member's CGHS cards must be supplied in the event that a dependant family member needs treatment. CGHS will check the card details against the CGHS database after consulting with NIC.


5) In the last week of AIIMS month, the actual bill and a copy of the CGHS card must be sent in to the office of the Additional Director, CGHS of the relevant city.


6) AIIMS will open a separate bank account for CGHS recipients so they may pay their expenses. The bill payment must be made into the CGHS bank account that AIIMS maintains.


7) The benefit of cashless treatment is not limited to CGHS retirees; other qualified individuals may also take use of it.
