The most recent information indicates that several students have begun to call for the cancellation of the UP RO/ARO 2023 exam on social media. According to reports, there was a paper leak during the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission's (UPPSC) February 11 Pre-Exam for Review Officers (RO) and Assistant Review Officers (ARO) in 2023.
On social media on Tuesday, hashtags like #Cancel_RO_ARO_Exam and #UPPSC_WE_DEMAND_REEXAM are trending. Students claim that in the case of the review officer preliminary test paper leak, there is a risk to the legitimacy of both the Public Service Commission and the UP government. According to the candidates, the Commission (UPPSC) and the state government must now choose whether to uphold or violate the students' confidence. There were several pupils expressing that they wanted a "re-exam."

Prior to this, there have been two significant developments in the investigation into the RO/ARO Pre Exam 2023 paper leak issue. Regarding the paper leak, the UPPSC has advised the state government to conduct an STF inquiry. Additionally, the Commission established a "Internal Committee." UPPSC will make a final judgment in the paper leak matter based on the report this committee submits to the organization.

On February 11, 2024, UPPSC held the preliminary examination for 411 positions of Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer. For these positions, almost 10,69,725 people had applied.
On the day of the test, 64% of the applicants showed up for class. There are 2387 test locations in 58 districts of Uttar Pradesh for the RO ARO exam in 2023. There were most exam centers in Prayagraj.
The chairman of the Samajwadi Party, Akhilesh Yadav, and other prominent members of the state Congress have brought up the matter of the document leak in addition to the students. Social media users are sharing several videos of pupils claiming that the testing facilities are running low on paper.
