About the Congress' remarks about Ladakh and the Maldives, Rajnath Singh said, "India is no longer weak, can give a befitting reply." Observe

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh criticized Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Choudhary's remarks in the Lok Sabha, stating that the nation has not become weaker but rather stronger and is capable of responding appropriately.

On Monday, February 5, 2024, during the budget session of legislative bodies in Delhi, India, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh addresses the Lok Sabha.

Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, a prominent member of the Lok Sabha for the Congress, responded angrily to the accusations, stating that the situation in Ladakh is becoming worse every day due to China's occupation of large portions of the region and the Maldives' anti-India campaign. As a result, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh voiced his disapproval of Muhammad Muizzu's election as a pro-China politician.

The Defense Minister denounced the senior Congress leader's remarks, stating that the nation is no longer weak but has instead become stronger and is capable of responding appropriately.

I disagree with Adhir Ranjan Choudhary's remarks on China and the Latin American and Pacific region, even if he appropriated my name. In the Lok Sabha, Singh said, "I condemn it."

"To reassure the House, India is no longer a weak nation. India is become a powerful nation. India has the capacity and strength to respond appropriately to anybody who dares to look it in the eye. Not to be disparaged." On the Parliamentary dais," said the Minister of Defense.

During the motion of thanks discussion on the President's speech earlier today, the leader of the Congress in the Lok Sabha asked the Defense Minister about the state of affairs in Ladakh, asserting that large swathes of the region were under occupation.

The President addressed nothing at all about security concerns in his speech. Every day, the situation in Ladakh becomes worse. I would want to inquire about the current state of affairs in Ladakh from our Minister of Defense. You promised that everything would go back to normal. Every day, the situation in Ladakh becomes worse. An area of 2,000 square kilometers is being taken. The shepherd can't go there today. Kindly inquire with the Ladakh people as to why this is occurring. Why are you not talking as you sit? According to Adhir Ranjan, things are getting worse from Arunachal to Ladakh.

Chaudhary went on, "You provided a certificate stating that nobody accessed our location during the Galwan incident. Your administration has failed in its China strategy since 2014."

The Congress leader made reference to Swami Vivekananda when he said he was glad to come from a nation that embraces tolerance and acceptance and has provided asylum to all religious minorities and refugees who are facing persecution.

To the people of the globe, Swami Vivekananda had said with pride, "I am proud to belong to a religion which has taught the world universal acceptance as well as tolerance, which has also taught the world that all religions are true in the world." Being from a nation that has provided safety to refugees and persecuted religious individuals makes me proud. This is the nation we were given. According to the Congress leader, the situation is now changing so quickly that it has caused anxiety and worry among our nation's minority community.
