Aadhar Card: Aadhar has been removed from the list of papers by the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). Aadhaar is no longer valid as evidence of documents. Aadhaar has been taken from the list of papers accepted by EPFO as evidence of date of birth.


UIDAI provided this justification for not utilizing Aadhaar as evidence of DOB.

It is not, however, acceptable as evidence of date of birth (DoB). On behalf of the Indian government, the Unique identity Authority of India issues the 12-digit Aadhaar personal identity number.
