Online payment options for traffic challans are available in several places nationwide. Speaking of the NCR, the Gurugram Police now takes payments for internet challans. This service has already been launched by Faridabad Police. To pay for a challan, you may use PayTm or any UPI app.


You may get an e-challan if you have broken any driving laws. Your home address or registered cellphone number will get an e-challan in the mail. Should you fail to make payment within 60 days of receiving the e-challan, legal action may be taken against you.


How to use PayTm to pay for a traffic ticket


Open the mobile PayTm app.


Navigate to Bill Payment and Recharge.


In the section labeled "Recharge and Bill Payment," choose "View All."


Locate and click on the "Challan" section now.


Now choose 'Traffic Authority' from the selection that drops down.


Assuming that your ticket was issued in Faridabad, choose Faridabad Police.


Enter the details for the challan. Challan number and vehicle number must be included in here. Click and choose "Proceed."


The money and challan details will now show up in front of you. Press the "Next" button.

The cashback deal will then become displayed as well. Choose it and click "Payment" if there is one.


Make a payment using the Paytm method of your choice now.


To finish the transaction, choose "Pay Traffic Challan."


By going to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways' website, you may also fill the challan online (MoRTH). You must do this by going to the ministry's official website, www.echallan.parivahan.gov.in. Here, you must first input the challan number, driver's license number, or vehicle registration number in order to see the challan data. You will next need to click on Get Details and complete the captcha. You must provide the challenge. By choosing the "Make Online Payment" option on the same page after seeing the information, you may complete the purchase. only because UPI and online means are now available for paying traffic fines. You may still use your previous payment method.
