Better home demand caused Ajmera Realty and Infra India Ltd.'s sales bookings to almost quadruple to Rs 253 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal year. In the same time last year, its sales bookings were Rs 128 crore, as per a regulatory filing earlier this week.


In the current fiscal year, the Mumbai-based firm sold 1,03,573 square feet of carpet area from October to December, as opposed to 63,595 square feet during the same time the previous year. Sales bookings increased by 5% to Rs 730 crore from April to December of current fiscal year, from Rs 694 crore during the same time last year. In comparison to the same period last year, the firm sold 3,59,820 square feet of carpet during the first nine months of current fiscal year. Dhawal Ajmera, Director, Ajmera Realty & Infra India Limited, stated, “As we exit Q3FY20, we are significantly on track to achieve our sales target of Rs 1,000 crore for this financial year. are growing."


"The real estate market has had tremendous growth lately, as shown by the index reaching a 15-year high. A record number of property registrations in Mumbai as well as the MMR area have contributed to this momentum, the speaker added. According to Ajmera, the significant infrastructural development projects fueling this expansion are also pushing up housing prices.
