Instead of being appointed Inspector General of Police, Central Zone, Patna, IPS Rakesh Rathi is now Inspector General of Police (Headquarters), and IPS Vinay Kumar is now Inspector General of Police (Security), Patna.

Bihar IPS Transfer 2024: The Bihar government undertook a significant administrative overhaul of the police force in the new year. Ten IPS officials who were stationed in the state have been moved by the Nitish Kumar administration. The Home Department said on Wednesday that ten IPS officials will be transferred. Numerous officials with the ranks of ADG, IG, and DIG are among those who have been moved. Four DIGs, three IGs, and one ADG have been moved, according the announcement.

IPS Sunil Kumar was appointed Additional Director General of Police Special Branch in Patna, replacing his position as Additional Director General of Police (Security). He was previously doing Special Branch duties as an extra charge.

Instead of Inspector General of Police, Central Zone, Patna, IPS Rakesh Rathi is now Inspector General of Police (Headquarters), Patna.

By assuming the duties of Inspector General of Police (Headquarters), Patna, IPS Vinay Kumar was promoted to Inspector General of Police (Security).

In the Tirhut region of Muzaffarpur, IPS Shivdeep Wamanrao Lande has been appointed Inspector General of Police.

Inspector General of Police, Central Zone, Patna, is now IPS Garima Malik.

Prior to this, IPS Vikas Burman was in charge of Patna's Deputy Inspector General of Police (Administration). His new position is as Deputy Inspector General of Police in the Saran district of Chapra.

IPS The man in charge of Special Branch, Patna, was Manoj Kumar Police Deputy Inspector General (Security). He has been assigned to the Koshi district of Saharsa as the Deputy Inspector General of Police.

IPS Vikas Kumar is now the Deputy Inspector General of Police for the Purnia region of Purnia after being demoted from the position in the Saran area of Chapra.
