Will the current ceiling of Rs 7 lakh now rise to Rs 10 lakh?


Taxpayers are now free from paying taxes on income up to Rs 7 lakh per year. Working people anticipate that this cap will rise throughout this budgetary year. Salary Class anticipates that the budget would raise this cap from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. in order for them to have more money saved for inflationary times.


Will the interim budget include any significant news from the finance minister?


The interim budget does not include any significant announcements from the administration. However, based on the 2019 budget that was released, it doesn't seem to be. The interim budget was then delivered by Union Minister Piyush Goyal on February 1, 2019, during which he made a number of significant announcements. He significantly reduced income taxes for the taxpayers. These pronouncements were presumably made with the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in mind, which are scheduled for two months from now.
