One of IndiGo's customers expressed dissatisfaction with the airline after having the worst flight from Kolkata to Bengaluru. In response, the airline gave a refund.

A customer who called the airline "the worst flying experience of his life" and slammed the company was given a refund by IndiGo. On January 13, Debarghya Das wrote a furious post on X, expressing his aggravation at missing his international trip due to a seven-hour delay in his aircraft from Kolkata to Bengaluru.

"My 10 pm Calcutta-Bangalore flight left at 4:41 am after 6 delays totaling 7 hours," Das said in his post. One overseas flight was missed by me." Das sent pictures of his ticket and detailed his experience in a long discussion on X.

Additionally, Das said that IndiGo employees were "disrespectful" and "lousy" for canceling his current trip and failing to help him purchase a new ticket. The airline staff allegedly waited over two hours to cancel his trip and get his checked-in bags, according to him.

He said that during their argument, the ground crew told him, "We will not do the cancellation." The airline, according to the traveler, "has absolutely no respect for other people's time and money."

Additionally, Das argued that IndiGo's catchphrase, "Always on-time," is "false advertising."

"I was going to prevent flying them again," he said.

Social media users commented on the post after it went viral, sharing their opinions and similar experiences they had with the airline.

"Sad," a user said. My favorite airline in the past was IndiGo because of its reliability and punctuality when I traveled inside India." A further statement states, "Monopoly breeds arrogance and also unfortunately, there is a practical monopoly in this sector."

"I'm sorry for you, and I know exactly what you must have gone through. There was a very good possibility that you would make your overseas flight. However, I have discovered that problem Book a different ticket as soon as you can, depart, and then subsequently collect your reimbursement for the domestic travel. Another user said, "Since the international flight is more expensive than the inexpensive domestic flight, it is not advisable to wait for them to be canceled." voiced his thoughts.
