All the information required to apply for the scholarship program for students from Scheduled Tribes, Castes, and Backward Castes enrolled in post-admission courses has been released for the academic year 2023–2024.


Applications for the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme are being accepted from students enrolled in post-entry programs for the fiscal year 2023–2024 who meet the eligibility requirements based on guidelines provided by the government to students who belong to Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, and Backward Castes.


1. Students from Scheduled Tribe, Caste, and Backward Caste whose parents' or guardians' yearly total household income does not surpass Rs 2.50 lakh are eligible for scholarships. The benefits of any other scholarship will not be available to students awarded under this program.


2. Application process: Eligible students must submit their applications online by following the instructions provided on the website https://ekalyan.cgg.gov.in. They must also upload scanned copies of all necessary certificates (jped/jpg up to Imb), which must be submitted.


i) An original copy of an income certificate issued online by a deputy commissioner, circle officer, or sub-divisional officer. (An income certificate will be valid if it is issued on or after August 1, 2023.)


ii) An original copy of the caste certificate, issued online by the Deputy Commissioner, Circle Officer, Block Development Officer, or Sub-Divisional Officer level.


(iii) Residential Certificate obtained over the internet Original certificate (issued at the Circle Officer, Block Development, Sub-Divisional, or Deputy Commissioner levels).


(iv) An original photocopy of the Bonafide Certificate, issued by the Institute for the current year and complete with the Fee Structure issue number and date, on the Institute's letterhead. (On a single page)


(v) A certified duplicate of the prior exam's grade report.


(vi) Through PFMS and Aadhar Enabled DBT, the scholarship funds would be deposited into the accounts of qualified students. (Seeding the bank account with the Aadhaar number is required.)


3. The online application deadline is:


1. Educational institutions may apply for registration on the e-Kalyan site between December 20, 2023, and January 10, 2024.


2. The student application period for the 2023–2024 academic year runs from 11.01.2024 to 20.02.2024.


3. The INO of the relevant educational institution will verify student applications from January 12, 2024, until February 29, 2024.
