Following the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Modi will be re-elected: Bhujbal Chhagan
Following the Lok Sabha elections in a few months, Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Chhagan Bhujbal expressed confidence on Wednesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be re-elected given the present state of the nation.
When asked about seat distribution in the state for the Lok Sabha elections amongst the governing partners of the BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP (Ajit Pawar group), Bhujbal assured reporters that the leaders of the three parties would come together and make that decision.
"The winds are blowing everywhere in favor of Narendra Modi Sahab," he said, pointing to the election results and the wave that some states were experiencing. I have no doubt that in 2024, PM Modi Sahab would hold the position once again."
The NCP leader expressed confidence and added, "In the Maharashtra Assembly elections to be held in the coming months, the Chief Minister will be from the Mahayuti (ruling alliance)." He declared himself certain that he would prevail in the state elections.
(From Sharad Pawar's NCP camp) When questioned about Jitendra Awhad's assertion that Ajit Pawar's appointment as Deputy Chief Minister in the previous Maha Vikas Aghadi cabinet was a mistake, Bhujbal said that it would only have occurred if Ajit Pawar had not been included.
It is unlikely that the MVA administration, headed by Uddhav Thackeray and in office for 2.5 years, would continue for as long as it did, he said.
