According to IMD, there will likely be light rain and overcast skies on January 9 along with shallow to moderate fog during the next week.

Due to the chilly weather in Delhi, all schools that are sponsored, assisted, or approved by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi will be closed for the next five days, according to Mayor Shaili Oberoi's announcement on Sunday. The news was made by the mayor via a tweet.

"All MCD, MCD-aided, as well as MCD-recognized schools will be closed for the next five days, from January 8, 2024, to January 12, 2024, due to the current weather conditions. The second Saturday and Sunday in January are, respectively, 13 and 14."Monday, January 15, 2024, is when the school will reopen," she wrote.
