In advance of the Ram temple's January 22 consecration event, Paytm and the Ayodhya Municipal Corporation have inked a Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate mobile payments in the city.

Card readers, Soundboxes, and QR codes may all be used to make mobile payments. Paytm, a company owned by One97 Communications Ltd, plans to put Paytm card terminals at cash collection centers run by state and local government agencies.
