The contract covers the construction and provision of technical infrastructure and mechanical belt conveyor technology for ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India's Hazira Plant in Surat, Gujarat.

GST is not included in the Rs 82.78 crore contract value of the deal, according to a regulatory filing by Elecon Engineering.

On Monday, Elecon Engineering said that ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India Ltd. had placed an order with it for Rs 82.78 crore.
