Maheshwari filed a petition with the high court asking Kotnala to refrain from releasing any disparaging or libelous films against her.

The Delhi High Court on Monday banned entrepreneur Vivek Bindra's YouTube channel partner Vikas Kotonala from broadcasting defamatory videos or any other information against motivational speaker Sandeep Maheshwari.

Judge Prateek Jalan issued an interim ruling, stating that there appeared to be a romantic relationship between Kotonala and motivational speaker Bindra. Kotonala's videos effectively overturned a previous order from the Faridabad Civil Court from last month, which had prevented Maheshwari and Bindra from sharing defamatory content about one another.

A civil court in Faridabad, Haryana ruled on December 22, 2023, that both parties (Maheshwari and Bindra) shall refrain from making disparaging statements about one another on social media or in any other online or offline setting in order to preserve the peace. was stopped from putting the offensive footage on the internet. Something else. The lawsuit filed by Bindra against Maheshwari is scheduled before the Faridabad court on Tuesday.

Maheshwari was pleading with the high court to order Kotnala to refrain from creating any disparaging or libelous films against her.

Maheshwari has shown a prima facie case, according to the court, to bolster her argument that there would be irreversible damage if the injunction order is not granted.

"I believe that the information released by respondent no. 3 (Kotnala), who represents itself as the company owned by Bindra's channel partner, respondent no. 2's, has the potential to cause irreversible harm to Maheshwari, the plaintiff, who is also covered by the injunction, and to circumvent the injunction issued by the Civil Court.

"The plaintiff also has the advantage of convenience... Defendant no, till the next court date. According to the orders issued by the civil court, three are prohibited from disseminating any defamatory or slanderous film against the plaintiff online or offline, the judge said.

Maheshwari's senior lawyer Sandeep Sethi said that Kotonala's accusations against Maheshwari were motivated by Bindra.

He used two videos that Kotonala had uploaded to support his claims that Maheshwari was attempting to extort money from Bindra and that he was employing students to drive Bindra out of the market as a rival.

According to the attorney, Bindra was also included as a party to the lawsuit, but because he and Maheshwari were bound by the civil court judgment, no injunction was requested against Bindra.

The court said during the hearing that these YouTube channels are the beginning point of a type of battle and that social media is an odd place.

It's not like this is something I've never seen before. The judge said, "It appears that some of the competitors are not communicating at all during this fight."

Since Bindra posted a video titled "Big Scam Exposed" on December 11, 2023, Maheshwari and Bindra have been at odds with one other. Despite the absence of Bindra's name in the video, social media users connected the dots.

It was claimed that Bindra was deceiving young people by pretending to be a 10-day MBA program.

Maheshwari's video received millions of views in a matter of days, at which point she said she was under pressure to take it down.

In response to Maheshwari's accusations, Bindra produced a video on his YouTube account and denied any misconduct.
