'Why doesn't Mamata Banerjee run for office from Varanasi?' 2024 Lok Sabha Elections The chief minister of West Bengal was issued a challenge by BJP leader Angamitra Paul on Friday to run against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the next general elections.

Mamata Banerjee need to step up if she has the guts to take on Congresswoman Priyanka Gandhi. Are you interested in becoming prime minister? Hindustan Times cited the BJP senior as stating, "It is absolutely appropriate that our Chief Minister opposes the Prime Minister in the Lok Sabha elections."

He also emphasized the disparities among the members of the India Bloc on a state-by-state and national basis. Paul said, "After participating in the general elections along with joining TMC, will Adhir Chaudhary be able to answer to the families of the victims?"

This transpired subsequent to Mamata Banerjee putting out Mallikarjun Kharge's name as the opposition candidate for prime minister. Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, apparently supports the notion.

Subsequently, a United Janata Dal MLA has expressed disagreement with the measure. Gopal Mandal, a JDU MLA, has insisted on designating Nitish Kumar as the opposition candidate for prime minister in the event that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) loses the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

"People do not know Mallikarjun Kharge and quite they do not know that he is the Congress president," the JD(U) leader said. Gopal Mandal said, however, that "people know who Nitish Kumar is."

Mallikarjun Kharge said that the India Bloc's primary goal was to win the Lok Sabha elections, but he refused to discuss on the plan.

According to the report, Rahul Gandhi met with Sharad Pawar, while Kharge phoned Nitish Kumar for potential damage management.

Amidst rumors of a new division among Indian politicians, Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress party, is said to have spoken with Nitish Kumar. The two leaders haven't been able to conduct discussions up until now due to scheduling conflicts.

Rumor has it that the two will discuss the uproar surrounding their encounter on Wednesday. While Gandhi talked with NCP leader Sharad Pawar in the next several days, Kharge had previously spoken with Kumar.

Even as Kharge dismissed rumors that he might run for prime minister, India Bloc leaders denied allegations that the Bihar chief minister was dissatisfied with the state of affairs.
