Trump undoubtedly encouraged rebellion: Biden after the Colorado decision

Although Biden emphasized that the case is still in court, this is the first time he has openly discussed the several lawsuits that are being filed against Trump.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA: On Wednesday, US President Joe Biden said that Donald Trump had unmistakably backed the uprising, after the Colorado Supreme Court's decision to exclude the Republican from running for reelection in light of the 2021 Capitol assault.

"I'll defer to the judiciary to decide that. However, he was undoubtedly in favor of the uprising. After boarding Air Force One to arrive in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Biden told reporters, "There is no doubt about it, none, zero."

It is obvious. You saw it all," the 81-year-old Democrat remarked. Trump and her will most certainly square off in the 2024 presidential race.

Although Biden emphasized that the case is still in court, this is the first time he has openly discussed the several lawsuits that are being filed against Trump.

The campaign of the former president has said that it would appeal the Colorado ruling—which is solely relevant to the state's primary elections—to the United States Supreme Court.

The U.S. Constitution's 14th Amendment, which forbids anybody who takes an oath to protect the nation from office and then joins an insurrection, is being effectively enforced in this, the first of multiple court lawsuits around the nation.

With Trump leading him in the polls and his popularity rating at an all-time low, Biden has removed his mask to take on the president directly with harsh words.

"The biggest danger to our democracy is Trump. Because if we lose, we lose everything," Biden said on Tuesday at a campaign stop close to Washington.

In the January 6, 2021, assault by Republican supporters seeking to reverse Trump's defeat to Biden, he depicted Trump as "sitting there, watching it happen on TV as the mob attacked the Capitol".

He said, "This is a former president who really supports and promotes violence against his fellow citizens. "It's disgusting.”
