The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has declared that the state's schools would begin their winter break on December 25. Regarding this, RBSE published a message on X (formerly Twitter) stating that winter break would begin on December 25.


Delhi


The Delhi government shortened the winter break from fifteen days to six days, claiming low air quality as the reason for schools closing in November. "In view of the above, the remaining part of winter vacation for the academic session 2023-2024 is scheduled to be observed from 01.01.2024 (Monday) to 06.01.2024 (Saturday”)," the Delhi Education Department shared in a circular.


Jammu


The winter break will be observed by all Jammu government and private schools from December 11, 2023 to February 29, 2024. The Jammu Education Board Directorate states that from December 11, 2023 to February 29, 2024, schools for pupils up to class 8 would be closed. Students in grades nine through twelve will have a holiday from December 18 to February 29.
