Recruitment for a total of 55 positions has been advertised by South Eastern Railway, according to their official website. This has allowed for the recruitment of 33 positions in Group D and 21 positions at Levels 2, 3, 4, and 5 in Group C.

Age restriction

According to South Eastern Railway, applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 25 on January 1, 2024, in order to be considered for these positions. Candidates from the SC, ST, and OBC categories shall not be exempt from this age restriction.

Level of education

It is a requirement for Group D personnel to have passed the 10th grade exam, the ITI, or any comparable test. In addition, Group C level 2, 3, and 4 workers must have completed their 12th grade, and Group C level 5 employees must have graduated.

The 7th Pay Commission will be used to determine salary.

In its announcement, Railways said that the chosen workers will be paid according to the 7th wage Commission, with a wage range of Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200.
